Sistemas de Misiles de España (SMS) and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG) reached an agreement last March to carry out the modernization of the NASAMS air defense system launchers, as part of the contract for the upgrade and modernization of NASAMS batteries to version 2+.
Within the framework of the International Defence and Security Exhibition of Spain 2025 (FEINDEF 25), SMS and KONGSBERG held a meeting to discuss details of the ongoing project and explore the possibility of expanding their cooperation in other areas of interest to the Spanish Armed Forces.
